Surrounded by lighting and tables made from wood sourced from eastern Hokkaido, we have created a space where you can relax and feel the warmth of wood.
Just a step outside the inn, you'll find the Washo Market where you can enjoy fresh seafood, the lively Suehiro restaurant district frequented by locals, and the Nusamai Bridge and Kushiro River riverside, known for their stunning sunsets, all within walking distance.
Enjoy seafood at the market in the morning, stroll through the port town at noon, be enveloped in the beautiful sunset in the evening, and chat at a local pub at night.
Instead of just visiting tourist spots, I want to travel as if I were living in Kushiro.
We would be delighted if this inn could become "another place to stay" for everyone traveling through Eastern Hokkaido.

LIVING & DINING

This single-floor accommodation, consisting of a living/dining area and two bedrooms, is available for only one group per day. You will never encounter other guests.
It's the perfect size for group trips, multi-generational family vacations, or even extended business trips.
The lights that gently cross the ceiling are made from wood from eastern Hokkaido.
A wall covered in wood, and a low table made from a tree stump. Sitting at an oval table that can seat six, you can hear the sounds of someone cooking. The time spent surrounded by the trees of this land becomes a cherished memory of your trip.
BEDROOM

There are two bedrooms, each with two single beds. We provide two sets of futons and blankets depending on the number of people. Since the bedrooms are separate from the living room, groups with different sleeping schedules can sleep comfortably without disturbing each other.

WOOD
Surrounded by trees in eastern Hokkaido.
A single-piece light fixture gently traverses the ceiling. A pendant light made from fir wood turned to an extremely thin degree using a wood lathe.
A low table cut straight from a log, and a decorative shelf with the original edges left intact.
All of these pieces were made from wood sourced from eastern Hokkaido and were specifically placed in this room.
The fir wood, turned to an extremely thin degree on a wood lathe, allows light to shine through from the inside when illuminated.
On the other hand, the log coffee table retains its cracks and growth rings.
In the morning light, it appears white; under the nighttime light, it turns amber. The same tree displays completely different appearances depending on the time of day.
Throughout my stay, the wooden sculptures were always in my peripheral vision. I think that's what contributes to the comfortable atmosphere of this room.
